 NEIGHBORHOOD PLAYGROUND PROGRAM Minimize

PENDING  -  Do your kids need something to do in the summer? Why not send them to the Machesney Park Neighborhood Playground Program! We have one possibly two sites available for you to choose from: Marquette School and Silo Ridge. 

 

The Playground Program tentatively begins June 20 and runs until August 12th (closed July 4th & 5th) and is open to children ages 5 - 12 who live in Machesney Park.


Parents may drop off their children from
8:00 - 11:00 and 12:00 - 3:00PM
, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Playgrounds must be cleared from 11-12 for lunch.

Children enjoy arts, crafts, field games, board games, and special events. Field trips include: swimming at Sand Park Pool, Magic Waters, movies, ice/roller skating, trips to the Imagination Station in the Park and a "big field trip" at the end of the summer. This is a free program. A small transportation fee is charged during field trips.


Pre-registration is required. Sign up at HCC or watch for our flier that will be sent out to the schools in the spring.  A mailing will be sent to the neighborhoods around Silo Ridge.
